First Place Win at Road to Indie Week Montreal

This past Saturday night was the second half of the The Road to Indie Week, a competition where bands compete for the awesome chance to perform at Indie Week in Toronto. All performers were all local Montreal artists who performed different genres of music.

Sweet Roger, a great folk artist, started the night off. Followed by pop artist NJ Taylor, R&B rock’nroll group The Rising FewJohnny Coulll with his cool classic rock’n’roll band, rapper Maky Lavender, and finally Eckman Dredge.
The night ended with the judges results and the announcing the winners. The Rising Few’s infectious songs and honey smooth vocals, with rock’n’roll and R&B vibes, won them a place to perform at Toronto’s Indie Week. Second winner of the Road to Indie Week was Johnny Coull (and his band), whose classic rock n roll sound wooed the judges!
Congratulations to all participants and a shoutout to sponsors RedJAM Records & Sincop8ed Noize Inc.
